6:40a - Whatever You Do, Don't Tell Anyone
I'm going to be so tired today. I was wiped out all yesterday, but masochistically, I stayed awake to watch Adult Swim. Oh how I love the small shots of H. Jon Benjamin fix. *drools all over, shorts out keyboard, screams and cries*
Anyway. I woke up at four accidentally. I went to the bathroom and thought, "My mom is going to be SO late!" I smirked merrily to myself, and then came onto my computer to burn a CD for work.
My mother came knocking on my door.
"Katie," she said. "Have you been up all night?"
"Open the door," I told her. "Look at me. Do I look like I've been up all night?"
"I don't know, I can't tell," she said, squinting, obviously hurting without her glasses.
"Well, I haven't." I told her. "I just got up at six-fifteen"
"Six-fifteen?" said she, in a most incredulous manner.
"Yeah," I said, as though it were the most obvious thing in the world.
"What time is it?" she asked slyly.
I looked at the clock.
"Um. 4.26. Oops."
"Yeah," she said. "Six-fifteen."
I felt like I was insane. I can't help it, I'm all doped.
"Will you wake me up at 6.15?" I asked her, but I managed to wake up without mommy and without alarm at 6.15. My body knows, but it's not all that willing.
And so, another haughty pollytrance episode, pride crushed and proven wrong in the early morning, is now immortalised on livejournal.
Good morning my lovely dragonflies.
current mood: give me sugar. in water.
